KAROO ALOE · Disclosure
We are paid by
the link, not
by the brand.
Every purchase link on this site is an affiliate link. Here is exactly what that means for the price you pay and for what the report is allowed to say.
The short version
KAROO ALOE participates in the Takealot affiliate programme. When you follow a link from this site to Takealot and buy something, Takealot may pay us a commission out of its own margin. Your price is exactly the same as it would be if you had typed the address yourself. You are never charged more, and no part of the commission is added to your basket.
Where the links are
Every button or link on this site that leads to a shop is marked, carries rel="nofollow sponsored", and passes through an interstitial page that tells you where you are going before you get there. The disclosure bar sits at the top of every page, including this one.
What commission does not buy
- Not the conclusion. Report 01 links to a product and then spends an entire section arguing against it. That section was written before the link was placed and has never been edited to suit it.
- Not the claims. Where a number comes from a manufacturer's own testing, we say so in the body text, not in a footnote.
- Not the coverage. No brand, seller or agency has paid for, commissioned, previewed or approved anything published here.
What we are, legally
A publisher. We do not sell, stock, ship, invoice or refund anything. The contract of sale is between you, Takealot and the seller on the listing — for the product in Report 01, that is Queen Esther's Beauty. Their prices, delivery terms, warranties and returns policy apply, and they are the only ones that count.
Prices
Every price quoted on this site carries the date it was checked. Takealot prices, promotions and stock change without notice, and a marked-down price can revert at any time. If the number on the listing differs from the number here, the listing is right and we are out of date — please tell us.
Claims and health
The products we write about are cosmetics. They are not registered with SAHPRA as medicines or medical devices, they treat no condition, and nothing on this site is medical advice. We describe what a product can reasonably do and then say plainly where that stops — see the verdict section of Report 01 for the shape that takes.
In terms of the CPA
This disclosure is published so that the commercial relationship behind our links is obvious before you click one, consistent with the spirit of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 and ordinary honesty. If anything here is unclear, ask and we will rewrite it.
